MIDDLEBURY — A Middlebury resident that was involved in a hit-and-run has come forward.

Pasquale Rulli, 26, spoke to crash investigators on Wednesday. Rulli was driving a black 2008 Cadillac STS during a collision that injured a Middlebury teen Tuesday night.

Zion Carlstrom, 17, Middlebury, was riding her bike south on C.R. 35 north of U.S. 20 with her brother when a vehicle struck her from behind at 10:19 p.m. on Tuesday, said Elkhart County Sheriff Brad Rogers.

Zion was airlifted with head and leg injuries to Memorial Hospital of South Bend where, as of Wednesday evening, she remained listed in critical condition.
