Penn’s Gindelberger chooses Wabash College

MISHAWAKA — Chad Gindelberger, a 2012 Penn High School graduate, has committed to Wabash College in Crawfordsville to continue his academic and baseball careers.

Gindelberger, who hit .286 with 15 stolen bases, 21 runs scored and 14 runs batted in while helping coach Greg Dikos’ Kingsmen win the Class 4A South Bend Clay Sectional, will join a program coached by Cory Stevens.

Wabash is coming off a 2012 campaign that saw the NCAA Division III club go 18-22 overall and 8-8 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Gindelberger plays travel baseball with the Indiana Chargers.
