June 30, 1930 - June 24, 2012

ELKHART — Wilbur W. Losee, 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 24, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Losee; sons Dennis (Jodi) and Mark (Kelly); daughter-in-law Sylvia; sister Marlene (Bob) Huettl; grandsons Jason (Lorri) and Brandon; twin great-granddaughters Asthon and Addison; sister-in-law Joan Wantz; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Guy and Jaunita Losee; and son Brian.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and lived his life in Elkhart, retiring from CTS. He followed his love of music with many years in the Elkhart Municipal Band and in the Central Christian Church Choir, where he was a member. His hobbies included water skiing, golf and photography. He was the owner of Losee’s Bee’s Wax Candles for many years, taking special pride in making custom candles. He will be missed by many, but not forgotten.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday June 28, 2012, at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, with burial to follow in Rice Cemetery.

The family would like to say “Thank You” to everyone at Riverside Nursing Facility and to everyone from Center for Hospice. Memorials may be given to Central Christian Church.
