Sept. 27, 1931 - June 19, 2012

GOSHEN — Lloyd D. Miller, 80, of Goshen, died at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He had been in declining health the past two years.

He was born Sept. 27, 1931, to Dan J. and Ida (Miller) Miller in Norfolk, Va. On May 7, 1950, he married Katie A. Weaver in Kempsville, Va. She survives.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mary (Edward) Hackman of Goshen; a son, Steve (Kimberly) Miller of Goshen; a granddaughter, Keia (Ryan) Piper; a great-granddaughter, Lilly Piper of Indianapolis; two stepsisters, Diane Patti of Sandusky, Ohio, and Rebecca Miller of Mishawaka; and two stepbrothers, Daniel (Laura) Miller of Elkhart and Craig Miller of Mishawaka.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Margaret Miller; and sister Annie Yoder.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen, with a funeral service following at 6 p.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor Dick Rinearson. Burial will take place at a later date in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorials may be given to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
