FRANKLIN — Seven area players move on to match play today after two rounds of stroke play qualifying in the 62nd annual Girls State Junior Golf Championship at Hillview Country Club.

Elkhart’s Brenna Sherwood (84-80—164) and Granger’s Katie Willenbrink (78-86—164) are in a group tied for 13th place.

Goshen’s Heather Gladfelter (86-85—171) is tied for 32nd. Millersburg’s Brittany Gingerich (88-84—172) is tied for 39th. Goshen’s Mary Shipley (85-88—173) is tied for 41st.

Bristol’s Hannah Whisler (87-87—174) and Nappanee’s Heidi Morganthaler (91-83—174) are in a group tied for 45th.

Anderson’s Morgan Nadaline (72-76—148) led stroke play qualifying.
