Memorial High School three-sport star (football, basketball, track) Urston Smith was honored Monday at the Tim Bringle Memorial Award banquet. The award has been given to the top senior male athlete in Elkhart Community Schools since 1947. Sixteen Elkhart elementary and middle school students were honored Monday as Junior Tim Bringle Memorial Award winners. The award has been given to the top senior male athlete in Elkhart Community Schools since 1947.
Smith has committed to continue his academic and football careers at Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
