EDWARDSBURG, Mich. — David W. Snell, 55, of Edwardsburg, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at his home.

He was born July 25, 1956, in Elkhart to Albert and Joyce (Beghtel) Snell. He married Laura Perron on Sept. 5, 1998, in Elkhart.

Surviving are his wife, Laura; children Daniel, Marie, Olivia and Mathew (Chelsea) Snell; mother Joyce Snell; sister Linda Yoder; brothers James (Barbara) Snell and Richard (Marilou) Snell; and stepmother Deb Snell. Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents.

David graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1975 and was employed by the city of Elkhart from 1972 to 2012. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. Dave will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or a trust fund for Daniel, Marie and Olivia Snell at Key Bank.
