Ideal Beach
The beach is at 52256 Ideal Beach Road on the south side of Heaton Lake. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on all other days of operation. Closed on Mondays.
In addition to a lake front beach, the park has a wading pool, playground, volleyball area, miniature golf, picnic area and two corkscrew water slides. Kayak and canoes rentals are available.
Admission is $5 and $1 for children 2 and younger. A charge of $4 is required for the slide. Group rates are available.

Pierre Moran Swimming Pool
The pool is at 119 West Wolf Ave. Hours are 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday
Two pools are available. One ranges in depth to 3.5 feet. The other is 3 to 5 feet deep, but includes a 10-foot deep well. The pool also includes a corkscrew-shaped water slide.
Swim lessons are scheduled through July.
McNaughton Splash Park
The park is at 701 Arcade Ave. in McNaughton Park. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Saturday and 2 to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Adult supervision is required. Admission is $3, $1 for children 2 and younger and $2 for people 55 and older.
Parties can be reserved and group rates are available.
NIBCO Splash Pad
The splash pad is at 303 NIBCO Parkway in the NIBCO Ice and Water Park. This splash pad is unmanned and is open seven days a week from 2 to 7 p.m. The pad can be rented for special occasions.
Goshen offers two splash parks, one on the north and one on the south side of Goshen, and the Shanklin Park pools to help families beat the heat during summer days.
Shanklin Park Pools
The pool is open Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. through Aug. 12.
Shanklin Park is at 411 W. Plymouth Ave., Goshen, and includes a full-size swimming pool with two slides as well as a medium pool with 3-foot deep water and a kiddie pool with a few inches of water.
Admission rates depend on whether the swimmer is a Goshen resident or not. All patrons of the pool, residents or not, are required to purchase a pool photo ID for $2 per resident or $3 per non-resident. The ID is valid for three years. The photo ID is not necessary if purchasing a season pass.
Resident rates are $2.50 for youths 3-17 and seniors 60 years old and older, and $3.50 for adults 18 and older. Non-residents pay $1 more for each admission rate. Resident and non-resident children 2 and younger are free with a paid adult. Visitors who swim earlier in the day and return for the 6 to 8 p.m. “twilight” hours pay $2. Twilight-only visitors pay regular admission rates.

Splash Parks
The Rieth Park Splash Park is at the corner of S. 13th Street and Illinois Street in Goshen. The Walnut Park Splash Park is at the corner of N. 5th Street and E. Oakridge Avenue in Goshen. Both are open daily from noon to 8 p.m., weather permitting. There is no admission and the splash parks are open to anyone.
