Goshen woman injured in Thursday afternoon crash
Just after 2 p.m. this afternoon, Michelle Moyer, 47, was stopped at a red light in the left lane at the interesction of C.R. 17 and C.R. 14, two miles east of Elkhart.
As Carl Roberts, 60, of Elkhart, approached the intersection, he checked his mirrors to see if he had room to change from the right lane to the left. He did not notice Moyer stopped at the light. His Ford E350 box truck rear-ended Moyer’s Pontiac Grand Am, pushing it through the intersection.
Moyer complained of neck pain and was transported to Elkhart General Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Roberts was uninjured, but was cited for unsafe lane movement.
