Elkhart Circuit Court:

• David Darnell, 18, of Green River, Wyo., had an initial hearing Thursday on a felony charge of attempted armed robbery from Sept. 17, 2011.

Darnell was charged earlier, but since the robbery attempt happened three days before his 18th birthday, Darnell was sent back to juvenile court, where the magistrate waived him to adult court.
