GOSHEN — Phyllis Jean Mast, 66, of Goshen, died at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 18, 1945, in Wakarusa to Paul and Lydia Mae (Schwartz) Burkey.

On Feb. 28, 1987, she married Ezra E. Mast.

Surviving are her husband; her mother; two sisters, Diana (Wayne) Weldy, Beverly (LaVerne) Coblentz; and a brother, James (Linda) Burkey, all of Wakarusa; a niece; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She was a registered nurse at the Elkhart Clinic for more than 30 years and was favored by physicians.

She was a member of Brenneman Missionary Church in Goshen and taught Sunday school for most of her adult life.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service April 12, at the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Pastor Bill Richardson.

Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.

Memorials may be given to the Children’s Department of Brenneman Missionary Church.
