CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — Midwest Energy Cooperative recently donated Kill-A-Watt meters to libraries in the Cass District Library System.

The meter records the power used by a selected appliance or electrical device, which enables the user to then project the cost of running that item. The cooperative is donating the meters to promote a greater understanding of energy use and management.

The meters are available throughout the Cass District Library System including Edwardsburg, Howard, Mason/Union and the main branch.
