The Northridge boys swimming team gave it all they had on Saturday, but came home short of a state title, finishing third at the Indiana High School Athletic Association Swimming and Diving championship.

Austin Flagger won the Raiders’ lone state title, coming home first in the 100 meter backstroke. Flagger was also second in the 50 free, while Brennen Berger was second in both the 200IM and the breaststroke. Both swimmers are juniors.

Coach Joe Keller’s Raiders posted 217 points, while Carmel won the event with 246.5. The Greyhounds edged Bloomington South by just 1.5 points to win their third straight state title.
