Indiana Humanities selected the Middlebury Public Library to be one of 10 public libraries and schools across the state that will host a speaker from among the winners and finalists in the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award program of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Foundation.
The organizations were invited to apply for the program, which provides an honorarium for authors who have agreed to participate in the program. The authors include historical writer Ray Boomhower, young adult author Margaret McMullan and Butler University professor Andrew Levy, among others.
McMullan is the author who will visit Middlebury Community Public Library on Oct. 24. On Sept. 30-Oct. 1, the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library will welcome author Colleen Coble.
All of the authors selected are represented in the Novel Conversations library.
