 Concord Little League recently won the Little League  District 14 9-10 Baseball championship. Team members are (from left, first row) Curtis Lay, Mitchell Whitehead, Gavin Miller, Samuel West, Charlie Deuel and Tommy Kinsman; (second row) Dominic Starrett, Zaven Koltookian, Thomas Burkert, Zach Pedzinski, Ethan Kavanagh, Cameron Bal and Armen Koltookian; (third row) coach Keith Pedzinski, coach Tom Kavanagh and manager Cliff West. Concord edged Mishawaka 7-6 in the championship game to earn one of 14 spots in the 9-10 state tournament, which begins Tuesday, July 22, at Lake of Four Seasons Little League in Crown Point. Concord is slated to play the District 8 champion in an opening-round game Tuesday.
