 Multiple animals in one cage and rows of cages facing each other are two things Anne Reel, executive director of the Humane Society of Elkhart County, hopes to fix with a new shelter. Adding more cages and a wall down the middle of a room can help lower stress on animals, Reel said.

 Alliance Sheets, a corrugated packaging maker, is building this new facility in Bristol and will conduct a hiring event Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at the RV/MH Hall of Fame. The company looks to hire 40 people for a range of jobs that pay from $13.50 to $30 an hour.
